Oh what a beautiful morning
You would think your land legs would take over after a week right. No way, I was trying to shave this morning, and ended up on the wall, go figure? I suppose 4 weeks on the water take a while to get over, so I will just wait.
The following is a list of the high points, not necessarialy in order.
1. The talent show.
2. Love and marriage show.
3. Retaking our wedding vows.
4. 50,s /60,s dance.
5. Waking up next to my angel every morning.
6. The great food.
We had a great time, but will be shorter next time.
More details later,
Have a great evening, good luck, and good night, The music man.

Le Grand Voyage
Well it was inevitable I guess, we are off! After a sleepless night, I was up and at’em early. All there was to do was to load up at the given time and take the short ride to Tampa airport and off we go into the wild blue yonder. We had requested wheel chairs per Martha’s advice, and it was great , following an almost flawless check in, here comes an attendant with two wheel chairs. She was pretty hefty, and handled us both with ease. We were left at the gate, and waited for our flight to board, for 2 hours no less.
Our flight was delayed for an hour for weather, but again we were off.
We were awake for the drink cart, then back to sleep until our approach to Dallas . Again we were met by attendants, and whisked of to Qantas Airlines, which was clear across the airport from American.
I tried to sleep, and did so in short naps, woke up for a great meal, unexpected as it was, of chicken, rice, salad, and roll, it was great. Do not let anyone tell you that 16 hours is not a long flight, because it is. We arrived at Brisbane at about , and were picked up
By attendants and dropped off at the security area, short stop there, and back to Qantas. We had only a short hop to Sydney , and after a short time waiting, here we were waiting for a cab, SHORT WAIT. We taken by cab, $55.00 later, to Eva’s hostel, and started our first day in boomerang land. My back has been bothering me more each day, but we did complete a Hop on Hop off bus tour of the city, and got off at the Opera house. Only one theatre was open, so we opted to go to Bond beach, before giving it up for the day. I needed to have a bite of lunch, and picked out a bread and cheese,/tomato open face sandwich for lunch. Hop on the bus, and back to Eva’s. The mini mart furnished a box of ceral, and milk for dinner, and breakfast, and we turned in early, in hopes of a good night’s sleep. A catastrophy has occurred, as we cannot locate a large portion of our cash. What to do? Well we fumed and fussed all evening, and decided to go through
everything on Wednesday , so we did, and found it all, in an unexpected place, but
we found it, hooray. Now, tomorrow and to the ship, more later.

Bye Bye miss American pie......
The time is swiftly passing,
Down to hours now we count.
We pack, and repack not knowing,
If it all will make it out.
So we just keep on going,
Still time to pack once more.
I bet you we left the one little thing,
I think it was on the floor.
We will just have to go out and buy one,
Your thing you just cannot do without,
Oh crap I forgot what it was.
We had a very nice breakfast on Tuesday, with best friend Tom, and his brother Keith too. Then a little nap was awaiting
before we were off again, you see we had to buy another suitcase, the other new one wouldn't work, it just kept falling over,
so here we are a packing, don't know when it will end,but we will finish on Wednesday for there is no time left, so Mary we have done our best, we will just have to trust our thinking and say "Mahalo nui loa", That's good bye and thanks.
Good bye and good luck.

Who would have thought it?o
Well, one more thing to deal with, now the tips of all of my fingers are beginning to lose the feeling, that adds to the lack of taste, smell, and the apparent jerking of my arms, and body. This on top of restricted driving, and a lack of dexterity in my hand makes it almost impossible to play the guitar, of course some people say that I couldnt play much anyway.Good Night and Good Luck, Phil

Things that must be said
There was this young girl that went to the same high school as I did,
Whose face could light up a room. Her smile could make the roses bloom,
her voice was that of an angel. She knew me not, but from afar I gazed, with a feeling I had never known.
She would say hello, and smile that smile, and go walking right on by, never knowing the heights she lifted me up, just seeing her could do. So long ago it seems that she affected me so, but all those years seem like a day, has it really been 60 years ago that this spark of mine has glowed, I just looked at her in a peaceful sleep so thankful that she is here. Now she means more to me than life itself, the years have not dulled the glow, I felt back then, for now she is my all. A nurse at times, a helper when she can, a critic too when asked to be, she is what ever she needs to be to put up with my whimsical ways. So before this feeling passes, I just want you all to know, just how much I love that girl, MARY is her name.
Good day and good luck,
Phil

Now for the rest of the story
Finally a chance to finish last entry, which was about a Christmas tree ornament. You see I always wanted a star for the top of a Christmas tree, and what ever I could find was too glitzy, you know what I mean. Well I decided to make one the way I thought it should be, and that was what the last post was all about. It turned out to be the prettiest piece I have ever designed and finished, if I can I will show you a pic. See, no poem no fancy story, just the facts Maam.
Good day, and Good Luck.
Phil
